As the holidays quickly approach we wanted to end the year by thanking each of our valued customers with a gift (See below). 
This year has been really busy for Pixta, Inc. We’ve added a great new feature to PixtaFlow that can dynamically build Adobe PDF files based on form input. It’s really useful for making custom cards, menus in which the prices vary, etc.
We’ve also added several new features to PixtaSynapse; there are some core infrastructure changes you won’t see but which will make using PixtaSynapse better and other changes you definitely will see. These changes include: a site redesign to make transferring files even easier, faster and more convenient for you and your customers. You’ll see this rolling out late December – early 2011.
There are lots of technical details about what’s happening around Pixta and general service improvements on our nifty new blog. And…we’ve set up both a Pixta Facebook page and Twitter feed so that we can stay more closely in touch with our customers. With our email ticket system, toll-free phone, Blog, Facebook and Twitter feed there’s lots of ways to reach us. So there’s no excuse, just let us know if there’s something you’d like to see improved in any of our services.
About the gift:
The crew here at Pixta often needs to send movies and pictures to friends and family during the holidays. We think transfer limits inhibit us from sending all the pictures or movies we would like, so, in the holiday spirt: we’ve taken transfer limits off of all pre-existing paying accounts for the month of December, 2010, as our “Thank You” for your business during the year.
What this means is that you can transfer as much data as you like during the month of December… on us.
Please be sure to manage your storage limits as those are still applicable. Helpful hint: If you have briefly exceeded your storage limit don’t worry, we only charge based on the 95%tile — which means storage for your account is averaged over the entire billing period. This is good for our customers since peak highs are averaged out and we only charge for overages when your limit has been exceeded over the billing period. Get files into the Recycle Bin where charges don’t apply.

We’ve been super-busy the last few months updating PixtaFlow.
A great new feature is MenuManager: which allows someone to upload a PDF form, in the admin. role of PixtaFlow, and generate a viewable web page in their customer portal. This allows a PDF to be dynamic. It this case it can have default prices set yet, be have those prices be changed by a customer and then sent directly into the PixtaFlow job queues as a print ready asset.
Users of the web-portal can sign into their account and see any PDF’s their account manager has uploaded, time-sensitive issues or make purchases from a customized catalog and add them to their cart. This is great for franchisers as it can help maintain consistent pricing over territories, reviewing pricing decisions made by the franchisee. Price ranges can be defined so there is a clear choice of pricing options open to the franchisee.
